Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mixed signals: many comments praise clean rooms and easy check-in, but several reviews call out tired carpets, dust, smells and occasional deep-clean issues that affected allergies.

Service

Consistently strong: numerous mentions of friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, 24-hour reception and excellent front-desk/bar/restaurant service.

Location

Very positive: repeatedly noted as convenient for the airport (yellow shuttle every 25 minutes) and a go-to stopover.

Room Quality

Generally comfortable rooms but mixed quality: many rooms described as nice and spacious, while others were called tired or in need of new carpet and deeper cleaning.

Amenities

Good basic amenities: 24-hour reception, pool and gardens praised; airport shuttle and free parking are useful extras for short stays.

Value for Money

Below average for some guests: seen as reasonable for price by a few, but several complaints about high food prices and limited options reduce perceived value.

Recreational Amenities

Indulge in the outdoor pool and fitness center during your stay at Holiday Inn Auckland Airport. Dining and Drinks Savor a delicious meal at Vapor Restaurant or enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. 24-hour room service is also available for your convenience.
