Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mixed reports: one reviewer reports mold and very poor conditions, while another describes a spotlessly clean room—overall cleanliness is inconsistent and leaned negative.

Service

Mixed service: several staff members described as helpful and friendly, but there are notable complaints about undisclosed fees, inconsistent early check‑in policy and curt explanations at the front desk.

Location

Very positive: repeatedly noted as an excellent Lower East Side location, accessible to attractions with good views (roof terrace near World Trade Center).

Room Quality

Rooms are small and require coordination for two people; paper‑thin walls and street/neighbor noise were common complaints, though some rooms at the rear can be quieter.

Amenities

Good basic amenities for the price: fast Wi‑Fi, basement coffee/water station and microwave, plus a pleasant roof terrace.

Value for Money

Mixed value: several reviewers note reasonable pricing for NYC, but unexpected third‑party/arrival charges and perceived false advertising reduce perceived value.

Unwind in Style

Take in stunning views from the terrace and enjoy amenities like concierge services and discounted access to a nearby fitness facility.

First Class Amenities

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers, a 24-hour front desk, and a safe deposit box. Each of the 32 air-conditioned rooms features a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and satellite programming.
